Jimmy's teaching philosophy pulls from his experiences as a performer, composer, recording artist, and student. His Bachelor's of Arts degree from the University of Hartford is in Jazz Studies. 

Although his degree specializes in jazz, Jimmy is well versed in many styles and genres.
